How do you pronounce Jnana?
Jnana is a Sanskrit word pronounced “Jana.”
What if I don’t have a mat?
While it is great to have your own mat, if you forgot yours or do not have a mat, we do supply them for our students. We also sell mats at our front desk.
What should I bring to class?
We supply all the yoga props and offer tea and water before and after class. Please bring your mat if you have one and wear clothes you can move in.
What if I am running late to class?
All classes start promptly. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class so you can set up your mat. Once class is in session, we lock the door to safeguard your goods. Please do not leave class early as it disrupts other students and may be distracting to others.
Do I need to sign up for class beforehand?
Yes, the class schedule and sign up is online on our website or on the Momence app. We ask that you sign up for class at least one hour prior to class time. If you have trouble signing up we are here to help. If you are unable to make the class you signed up for, we kindly ask that you cancel at least one hour before it starts.
What if I have an injury or am pregnant?
We kindly ask that you inform your teacher of any injuries or pregnancy so that you may have a safe class. We can give you alternative poses to better suit your needs.
I would like to rent your studio for a private event, is that possible?
Yes, we do rent the space for private events when we do not have regularly scheduled classes. Please email us if interested.
Do you offer one-on-one classes?
While we have a variety of classes to choose from, it is great to have a private session that is specifically tailored to you. This type of class is for those wishing to accelerate their practice and fine tune alignment.
