All Current Class Packs Expire 21 April 2024
Beginner/Level I This gentle flowing class focuses on the foundational poses. Great for those who are new to yoga or for the experienced practitioner wanting to refine their skills.
Intermediate/Level II This moderate flow class is for those with yoga experience who wish to deepen their practice. Here we build upon the basic poses with a little more intensity.
Advanced/Level III For the seasoned practitioner. This class is a very intense flow with advanced pose sequencing.
Open Class This flowing class is suitable for all levels and focuses on breath and alignment. Modifications are given for each pose to adjust for different practitioners.
Meditation This guided meditation class is for all levels of practitioners. Great for those who want to take their yoga practice to the next level or for those who have always wanted to learn the principles of meditation.
Gentle Yoga This class is a gentler style of yoga performed at a slower pace, with less intense positions, and includes extended time for meditation, yogic breath work, and relaxation. Suitable for all ages, shapes and sizes. Great for those who enjoy a slower pace due to injury or chronic pain.
Restorative Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow, still style of yoga that involves long, passive holds in a series of restful poses. The class begins with some gentle flowing movement and then progresses into positions supported by props to enhance or deepen the experience and achieve a state of total relaxation and release.
Prenatal Yoga: This class is specifically designed for women throughout all three trimesters of pregnancy. Prenatal Yoga includes poses, deep breathing, relaxation and meditation that are safe, help prepare for childbirth and benefit both mother and baby.

Prenatal yoga is for women in their second to third trimester and includes poses, deep breathing, relaxation and meditation that are safe for both baby and mother. This series will take place over the course of 5 weeks and will help prepare for childbirth and benefit both mother and baby. Be prepared to feel more energized, sleep better, feel a little bit more stretched and work on the areas needed for childbirth itself.

PAST EVENT: Starting Thursday, June 29th at 6:15pm, join us for this 4-part workshop with Melinda Applegate. Sign up for the whole series or drop-in at your convenience. Tai chi is the balancing of YinYang in mind and body and can be experienced with an internal martial art application of flowing movements. These flowing movements can help increase flexibility, balance, strength and memory. The Yang style 24 form is a classic series of constant motion that works every muscle in the body. Tai chi accesses all 12 meridians of the body affecting every system in the body towards better health.
About Melinda Melinda Applegate is a certified teacher of Qigong & Tai Chi by The Chi Center in Santa Cruz, Ca. She has a IIQTC Qigong Community Leadership certification from Dr. Roger Jahnke. Overall, she has studied with many other brilliant teachers accruing over 1500 hours of training thus far. She holds an honorary degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Heartwood Institute and is a member of the National Qigong Association. Melinda has been an Asian Healing Arts Practitioner since 2001. She began her journey with qigong and tai chi as a daily practice over 28+ years ago. On a healing path away from injuries and stress she was led to eventually become an accomplished bodyworker & certified teacher of Qigong. This life has brought her much joy and happiness, teaching all ages and abilities.

PAST EVENT Mariama and Michael are back again for this ecstatic tribal dance session! Get ready to connect with your inner joy, let loose and walk away feeling a little lighter. Everyone who comes always raves about the experience. It is truly something else. No prior dance or drumming experience required. Just bring yourself, some movable clothes and be ready to “shake it out.” Mariama, originally from West Africa, combines ecstatic dancing and the 5 Rhythms movement with her African heritage to create a one of a kind experience. NICOLE NELSON
Nicole Nelson comes to you with over 16 years of yoga teaching experience. Originally born and raised in Long Branch, NJ, she was inspired to travel and learn yoga and meditation directly from the source. Her yoga travels include two teacher trainings under Yogi Vishvketu in Rishikesh India centered on breathing techniques, kriyas, yoga nidra, yoga for back injury, children’s yoga, chair yoga and kundalini to name a few of the disciplines. During this time, she also studied and worked as a karma yogi (work-study) at Svaha studio in Amsterdam under her teachers Gosta and Patrick. This is where the real learning took place, as she devoured the yoga teachings, reading every history, philosophy and any other book on yoga while studying the practice full-time. She also studied at the Iyengar Institute while living and teaching in Amsterdam. Her meditation studies include a multitude of 10-day silent vipassana retreats and learning under different monks in both Thailand and Myanmar. Nicole’s classes are an amalgamation of her background and generally focus on breath and alignment. Be ready to laugh, feel joy and let go!
